If you have lived through abuse, you know what it means to fight your way through every single day. To keep going when your body, mind, and faith all feel like they are barely holding together.
You were made for more than just surviving
You are seen. You are heard. And you are not alone.
Hi, I'm Megan. I'm a certified coach who helps Christian abuse survivors understand what their nervous system is telling them and begin to understand why their body is reacting the way it is, grounded in both science and Biblical truth about how God designed your body. Because He made it in a complex and beautiful way so that it can protect itself.
If you're ready to stop just surviving and start becoming the person God created you to be, you're in the right place.
You Were Never Meant to Heal Alone
Healing from abuse is not a solo journey, and you should not have to figure it out in isolation.
is a private, faith-filled space for Christian abuse survivors and those who love them, where nervous system education meets Scripture, prayer, and real human connection.
Inside you will find a private community of people who understand what you have carried, group sessions that help you understand why your body responds the way it does, and a space where your faith and your healing are treated as one, not two separate things.
There is no price tag standing between you and support. You set your own price, minimum zero dollars, because this community exists to make sure that healing is within reach for everyone God brings here.

FAQs
What is somatic coaching and how is it different from therapy?
Somatic coaching works with the connection between your body and mind. The word somatic simply means "of the body," and this approach recognizes that stress, trauma, and difficult experiences are not just stored in our thoughts but in our physical bodies as well. Unlike therapy, which often focuses on diagnosing and treating mental health conditions, somatic coaching is from a bottom up approach. Meaning, we work together starting with what your body is holding, building practical tools for regulation from the ground up, and moving towards the life God wants you to live.
How does faith fit into your coaching?
I believe all healing comes from God. My role is simply to help you understand how He designed your body so you can get out of your own way and receive what He is already offering. Scripture is woven throughout our work together because His Word speaks directly to what your nervous system is carrying.
Is this based on a specific denomination or theology?
My work is rooted in a Christian faith and draws from Scripture. I am non-denominational and welcome Christians from a variety of church backgrounds.
What if I'm not sure where I stand in my faith right now?
You are still welcome here. Many people come here feeling spiritually dry, distant from God, or unsure of what they even believe anymore. That is not a disqualifier. In fact, it is often exactly where healing begins. You do not need to have it together spiritually to show up.
I have tried other things and nothing has worked.
Why would this be different?
Because most approaches focus on the mind alone. They ask you to think differently, believe differently, or try harder. But if your nervous system is still stuck in survival mode, no amount of mindset work or willpower will get you all the way there. This work goes to where the problem actually lives, in the body, which is where God designed healing to begin as well.
What is the difference between the Still Waters Session and ongoing coaching?
The Still Waters Session is a single 90 minute session designed to give you clarity and a starting point. You will leave with a real understanding of what your nervous system has been doing and practical tools to begin using right away. Ongoing coaching goes deeper. It is a continued journey of healing, regulation, and growth for those who are ready to keep going after that first session.
Do I have to identify as a survivor to work with you or join the community?
No. Whether you are currently in an abusive situation, have left one, or love someone who is walking through it, you are welcome here. You do not need a label or a certain level of healing to show up. You just need to be willing to take one step.
What if I reached out to my church and felt like I wasn't truly understood?
You are not alone in that experience. The Church loves people deeply and many leaders genuinely want to help, but abuse and its effects on the body and nervous system are not always well understood. You can have deep faith in God and still need support that meets you where your body actually is. That's why I do what I do and created this community.
What is the Anchor and Bloom Community and who is it for?
The Anchor and Bloom Community is a private group for Christian abuse survivors and those who love them. It includes access to a private Facebook community and group sessions four times a month that weave together nervous system education, Scripture, prayer, and connection. It is a place to be known, supported, and reminded that you are not walking this alone.
Is the community really free?
Yes. You set your own price with a minimum of zero dollars. This is intentional. Healing should not be out of reach because of finances, and this community exists to make sure it is not.
What does a session actually look like?
The Still Waters Session is 90 minutes and is designed to give you clarity and a real starting point. Ongoing coaching sessions are 60 minutes. All sessions take place online. We will talk, but we will also slow down and pay attention to what is happening in your body as we do. You do not need any prior experience or knowledge. You just need to show up as you are.
