I'm a Certified Somatic Trauma Informed Coach, which means I am trained to understand how your body holds and responds to stress.
I support people who feel stuck, reactive, and disconnected from God and from themselves, where on the outside it may look like they are holding it together, but underneath they are exhausted from trying to keep up with a body and mind that feel completely out of their control.
This work is deeply personal to me because there was a season of my life where I felt completely alone, unsupported, and unlike myself. I was pursuing God, doing what I believed I was supposed to do, and yet nothing was truly changing. What I came to understand is that trauma does not live in the mind alone. It lives in the body, which means you can’t always think or pray your way out of how you feel.
My body was not working against me. It had been protecting me.


My approach is grounded in trauma-informed, nervous system-led practice, woven together with Scriptural truth because I believe God designed your body with an incredible capacity to heal and that understanding how He made you is one of the most powerful ways to reconnect with Him.
Through my work, I support people who are ready to stop feeling like a stranger to themselves, feel more present and at peace in their everyday lives, and begin to experience a deeper connection with God that goes beyond what they have been able to access through willpower alone.

FAQs
What is somatic coaching and how is it different from therapy?
Somatic coaching works with the connection between your body and mind. The word somatic simply means "of the body," and this approach recognizes that stress, trauma, and difficult experiences are not just stored in our thoughts but in our physical bodies as well. Unlike therapy, which often focuses on diagnosing and treating mental health conditions, somatic coaching is forward-focused. We work together to help you understand what your body has been holding, build practical tools for regulation, and move toward the life you want to be living.
How does faith fit into your coaching?
I believe all healing comes from God. My role is simply to help you understand how He designed your body so you can get out of your own way and receive what He is already offering. Scripture is woven throughout our work together because His Word speaks directly to what your nervous system is carrying.
What does a 1:1 session actually look like?
Sessions are typically 60 minutes and take place online. We will talk, but we will also slow down and pay attention to what is happening in your body as we do. You do not need any prior experience or knowledge. You just need to show up as you are. Every session is guided by what you bring and what feels most alive or most stuck for you in that moment.
Is this based on a specific denomination or theology?
My work is rooted in a Christian faith and draws from Scripture. I am non-denominational and welcome Christians from a variety of church backgrounds.
Do I need to have experienced something traumatic to work with you?
Not at all. Many people I work with do not identify with the word trauma at all. They simply know that something feels off, that they are more reactive than they want to be, more exhausted than makes sense, or more disconnected from God and themselves than they used to be. If your body and mind feel out of sync, this work is for you.
What if I'm not sure where I stand in my faith right now?
You are still welcome here. Many people come to this work feeling spiritually dry, distant from God, or unsure of what they even believe anymore. That is not a disqualifier. In fact, it is often exactly where healing begins. You do not need to have it together spiritually to show up.
Where do sessions take place?
All sessions are online, making them accessible no matter where you are located.

Why would this be different?
Because most approaches focus on the mind alone. They ask you to think differently, believe differently, or try harder. But if your nervous system is still stuck in survival mode, no amount of mindset work or willpower will get you all the way there. This work goes to where the problem actually lives, in the body, which is where God designed healing to begin as well.
What is the difference between the Still Waters Session and ongoing coaching?
The Still Waters Session is a single 90 minute session designed to give you clarity and a starting point. You will leave with a real understanding of what your nervous system has been doing and practical tools to begin using right away. Ongoing coaching goes deeper. It is a continued journey of healing, regulation, and growth for those who are ready to keep going after that first session.
